Connecticut Diesel Tax Hike
Connecticut is raising its diesel tax rate to 46.2 cents per gallon, the highest in the nation. The tax hike will increase the cost of doing business for auto transportation and shipping companies.
New Year Brings Rising Gas Prices
During the first week of the 2011 New Year, the average price of gas was $0.41 higher than it was last year. This will undoubtedly put pressure on prices from carriers and movers.
